In 2005, I left behind my life of administrative work and enrolled in the Richmond Farm School program through KPU. There, I met and joined forces with two gals and after finishing the program, we formed Three Feet Below, a canning company. We farmed on leased land in Richmond and all of our produce became food in jars. At the end of 3 years, we dissolved the company and I began my search for land to own in earnest while co-ordinating the program I had graduated from for 2 years.

In 2015, I found my new home, on the side of a mountain. Since 2016, I have been growing very similar crops to the previous farmers, but every year I try something different and feel I am getting closer to my own playlist which I hope Solstedt will be known for for a long time.
